I may be sensitive but you're also hurtful.

Why are you always scolding me? And why am I always caught off guard by it despite it being a blatant pattern? When did being around me become such a chore for you?

"You have no right to tell me to not text and drive."

"You had no business touching someone else's plate."

"You can't force a living thing on someone."

"You expect from others what you expect from yourself."

"If your dog keeps pulling on the leash, you don't give her even more freedom."

"I hate saying this, but you make us lose face."

"This wouldn't have happened if I was the one watching him."

"When are you going to get it together?"

On my best days, I can just accept that none of you think highly of me, and there are others who see the good in me. On bad days, the guilt of existing is unbearable.

"I knew she was gonna get all pretentious with her gift."

"She will be late her whole life."

"I'm surprised she does most of the cooking."

"Do you ever think you're the problem?"

"I hated you when I was in high school."

I'm sad that I don't feel good around you guys. I've always wanted to feel connected. And I can't remember the last time I felt that way.
